Help! Chicken is Molting in November

I am glad I found this info.. I have a flock of 6 and they are molting in November... last year they molted in August. I am worried about them staying warm! I have one who is more naked than the others and she seems to be staying in one of the nests all the time.. I am down to one egg a day.. How long does the molt last??

Mine LOVE to molt every year, usually starting in late August early September all the way into March or April. All of them, all at the same time, 4 Black Austrolorp hens and 1 RIR rooster. This year, for the first time, I put a light on them, a few hours in the evening and a few hours in the morning, that delayed their molt and I got eggs. About A week and a half ago, they all started to blow their feathers, now no eggs. What do people do with all those dang feathers all over the place? I think last year I took a shop vac into the coop and vacumed them up, had to do it quite often too Thank goodnes my ducks are still laying, but probably only because they are so young, next year will be interesting to see when they molt.

My chicken, Ginger, started molting around Christmas. Her neck is almost bare. I'm worried about her (she's kind of my favorite.)
They have a big, open pen and a nesting house and roost house. She has plenty of shelter. I tried using a heat lamp and all six of my chickens would cuddle as far away from the lamp as they could. I have read that that's not unusual. Apparently they stay warmer than we think.

Anyone else have a chicken molting in the freeze of winter? It was 10 below the other night. She's eating and drinking fine, but isn't as loving as usual. I guess that's not abnormal either.
