My chickens are being killed off! And my ducks as well! In broad daylight too! Whatever is going after them takes the biggest of my babies, my fully grown Roos and drake! And all that is left is a pile of feathers. no bones, no body, nothing else. I thought about poison, but some one else said that was a bad idea. I may have to get a live animal trap or something. This is really frusterating me! Any ideas?

Read the thread on "Raptor Migration". Sounds like hawks to me, they are migrating from now till November and will be looking for "easy" food sources.

We had owls coming and killing our animals. They always left a big pile of feathers. Coon and fox are usually a little less messy at the kill sight. We even had a you bald eagle kill one of our ducks in broad daylight. If that's the case a live trap won't help much. sorry to hear of your loss
