My egg laying and normally very spunky hen has taken a weird turn today. This afternoon she was her normal, active self but when I came out to feed them dinner I couldn’t find her. I ended up finally finding her under a bush not moving with her tail feathers drooping to the ground. She seems to have been there for a while because there was some poo by her backend. When we went to pick her up she got up and started walking, but she’s not interested in food or acting like herself. She took herself into the coop now. We checked her for a stuck egg but didn’t find anything. Should I separate her? Any advice?
