Help! Chicken lost a toe and a half

Update is she's getting up more often and I have a chicken diaper on her and she's determined to take it off haha. She's got a lot more energy lately and more personality.

Sounds like she's on the road to recovery. Post some pics when she's healed, would ya?

Thanks for the update

Glad to hear she is moving around more.

It has a lot of white to it on both spots I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

It looks like it is healing. The white is most likely dead skin that has lost it's pigmentation and that will peel/fall off, but keep an eye on it.

The black is just a scab that should fall off right? I think I'm just fearing the worst so I'll be prepared in case it is haha

My hen Peg (short for Peg Leg, not Margaret!) lost all the toes on one of her feet. She was still the kindest little hen and she was able to hobble along just fine.

Yes, it looks like the black will fall off eventually as well.

It's always best to be prepared. You are doing a good job in taking care of her.

She's been having a bit of green runny poop. What stuff do you suggest? I've heard mixing baby feed, yogurt, and boiled yolk.

It's best to give her normal feed if she will eat it.

Green runny poop could be that she is not eating well.

What do you normally feed?
