Hi everyone,
I would appreciate any advice my mind is going crazy.
My hen just started laying this week she’s a bantum duccle, about 24 weeks old.
Just this morning I realised that she was making a gurgling/crackling sound. It sounds like when a human is hungry and your tummy rumbles. It’s not coming from her crop and her crop is normal as it’s early morning and it’s empty. It sounds like it’s coming from just before her vent. Around 3/4 down her wings.
She has been grooming all morning and doesn’t seem lethargic her poops look normal.
The noises just happen every so often and I used a stethoscope to listen to her lungs they seem the same as my rooster I’m not convinced it’s coming from her lungs as it doesn’t happen on every breath.
If anyone has experienced anything similar please anything would help
