Our shed door fell on our chicken because of the wind tonight. She got up and walked a few wobbly steps right after but now she is keeping her head down and not moving/making noise (it is her typical sleeping time...). It seems like there is egg white coming out of her bottom and maybe a broken quill/bone?? but no blood. We are keeping her inside for the night under her heat light (which is usually in her coop) but are unsure what other course of action to take to help her (if we can).
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I think all that you're doing now is about all you can do til the morning since it's night time. What concerns me is the egg white that you stated was coming out of her bottom. Are there broken eggshell pieces in the egg white coming from her vent? Or is it white in color urates that you'd normally see in her poop that's being excreted?

We didn't see any egg shell pieces, it's a clear liquid and has the consistency of mucus - which made us think it might be egg white. She did lay this morning at regular time (about 9am) and the door fell on her about 7pm tonight. Fortunately I was near-by and she was only under the door for a few seconds. We have seen her stand up in her box a few times since we brought her inside, but it's never for very long and definitely appears uncomfortable as she almost falls down when she sits again. I was able to get her to take some water from a dropper which she seemed to appreciate.

Well... Thank you for your help. She just passed away about 10 min ago. There must have been internal injuries we couldn't see. We're sad to see her go, but grateful she did so inside where it's comfortable and not out in the winter storm. Thank you again for caring, we appreciate it.

I'm so sorry for your loss

I'm sure you did everything you could do to help her and ease her suffering. It's always so sad when we lose one.
