Help. Chicks dying

Just talked to people from Penn state. They are going to test birds and feed for me.

I assume that should be 17MAR06 (I hope). The reason I ask is I just noticed the other day that the chick starter I bought is from December I didn't know if perhaps yours had gone rancid.

Glad you are getting the birds checked out. That many birds dying in such a short time would definitely have me concerned. I would be thinking something very infectious or management/feed related. However, that many birds in different batches would point me in the direction of food/water related or infectious. At the very least, I would want to rule out AI and Newcastle. Some fungal toxins can cause seizure like activity though so it's a possibility.
