HELP!Chicks hard craw, do they need oil and water treatment?

I read a few days back about this but can't remember all of the advice. I have 2 chicks who act like they are tring to regurgitate and I had just got them home last night from feed store so I don't know what they ate. I have them littered on pine shavings. Their craws feel like marbles. Their feed is purina chick starter and I have even ground that down a little because I have a PR that is a dainty eater.The other chicks are squishy and don't do this regurgitate thing. Help. I do have some chick grit but had not put it in their food last night.

Thanks for the info. It WAS what I had read the other day. I 'm a neophyte at the computer steerage and still don't know how to add funny faces to my replyies. All in good time. Just want the babes to be okay.
