Today is day 22 our power went out last week so they are a little late, we have the total of six eggs, I have a question, should the eggs wattle before they pip? because I'm a little worried. because they are not moving, should I be worried? also I have the total of one chick, the important part is should I be seeing them wattle.

i have honestly never witnessed the eggs moving until they’re zipping. you could always candle, if they have pipped internally, the air sac will be drawn down and there’ll be a blurry triangle shape in it

I just canceled them, although I didn't candle the one that was wattling, the ones that I did candle, the airsacks looked normal but it was a tab darker in the middle, any thoughts?

From what I've read on here, as long as your temp and humidity is good, I'd just wait. You can candle to look for an internal pip, but our day counts aren't always theirs. My last hatch, the chicks hatched on day 20, totally out of the shells. You already said they'd probably be a little late. Maybe give them a couple additional days?
