Ok I really need some help here. I bought a package of Corid 20% soluble powder and I'm trying to figure out how much to mix in the 5 gal waterer I have. The package doesn't have any instructions for chickens. Anyone have an idea ????????, I've lost one to this stuff and really don't want to loose anymore, ya know.

Corid 20% soluable powder dosage; 1 teaspoon per gallon of water for 5-7 days. For 5 gallons= 5 teapoons for 5-7 days.

Robert, when you get a minute, can you tell about your chickens' symptoms? Mostly just for the record, but also because I am trying to figure out what is going on with my own chicken, and just gain knowledge generally.

Thanks.

No! That dosage is for the 9.6 Corid liquid...not the 20% soluable powder.

I stand corrected on the 20% soluable corid powder dosage....it is 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water, not one teaspoon.

Chicken health book says 1 teaspoon of the amprolium 20% powder per gallon, making it 1/4 tsp per quart, for 5 days. give vitamin supplement (A & K) once treatment is over.
