Help! Cochins or Brahmas?

The blue gene doesn't breed pure in silkies:

Looks like you got a black one! Neat!

If those aren't brahmas at all you'll have to wait to find out probably, how exciting! Make sure to tell MM w/i 48 hours though so you can get a refund.

I think those look more like Buff Brahams than anything, I've ordered Silver Penciled Rocks which are the same color as dark Brahmas and they don't look like the ones pictured, they have more of a chipmunk pattern.

Those ARE light Brahma chicks, thats what they all look like, dark brahmas are brownish when born. Don't worry they didn't mess up your order

light brahma pullets should have a yellow down to their fluff. buffs will have similar to what the OP has but will show some more orange on it's head. i think you got dark brahmas or something else by accident. unless they sent you cockerels!

did you specify pullets on your order?
