Look at the chick photos. NOT the adult ones. The chicks never look like their adult pictures when they hatch. The OP's chicks ARE Light Brahmas if you look at the chick pictures.

Well, I will keep you all posted on the out come. My "Light Brahmas" arent camera shy at all so the updates should be easy. This is a pic f one going after my camera a top chick speed.

( the other one is a buff orpington)

Also, I plan on calling McMurray tomorrow to get their input, so stay tuned... Light brahma or not, they have lightened up a tad over night it seems...

They are standard, not bantam, if that makes any difference...

Those are not dark brahma chicks. They are lights. Did you see my pic of what a dark brahma chick looks like? The darks look completely different from the lights and buffs. The darks are also the only ones of the three that can be sexed by color at just a few weeks old. The dark brahma males feather out in a totally different way than the females do. Brahmas are all I have. Trust me, I know.
ETA: In this case I agree with KinderKorner. McMurray must have some poor color quality light brahmas.

They didn't mess up. I promise.

I have both light and buff brahmas here, in both hatchery and SQ.
