**HELP** Cockerels attacking her!

If it doesn't work, try the monistat.

CanesOral is Diflucan (fluconazole), available by prescription only in the States and it's probably the *best* drug to treat yeast infections with, so if that doesn't work, I seriously doubt that Monistat will.

Yes squishy like that- yesterday when I tipped her and she vomited all brownish liquid (the color of her feed) came out looked like a few small grass strands- but it didn't stink really.
I will give her some of that yeast infection stuff.

I don't want to lose my sweet girl.... :-(
The recommended dose of the medicine you have is 10mg/kg (10mg per 1 kilogram of body weight) once a day.

If she pooping, something is getting through, right? If not, there is an impaction that is causing thing not to go through, which is why I suggested doing the cloacal exam. Did anyone actally read the link in post #15?

Get a glove, KY Jelly and gently stick your finger in her vent and check for eggs, masses, swellings.

Ok, I will try, that - if she is only 10 weeks she wouldn't have eggs in there right?
However she is pooping more now, a little more.. but not eating yet today and her crop feels like play dough so I amped up the water and oil and massage, I have no idea what the right amount of fluids are.. I didn't want to give her too much.. or would that be better. I swear sometimes i think, oh she looks better, she might make it and other times I don't think she will... Uggh! Yes I did read the link on the #15 post. Reading everything I can find- and so appreciate all the suggestions and advice!

10 weeks is too young for an egg or other issues like that, sorry I missed that, my bad! The proper amount of fluids is 30ml/kg every 6-8 hours, but that should be tube fed. Pictures of her poop would really help.

Ok, here is the most recent poo- it's not as solid as the ones yesterday- but they seem to be a little more frequent now.
She is actually cooing and chirping very softly a little now- which she hasn't been doing, so I am taking that as a good sign.. I'll take what I can get.
I will give more water- I've only been giving her about 5 mils at a time. I don't have a tube, but she is taking the water pretty easily now- we worked out a system so she drinks it better now.
she loved the yogurt and eggs yesterday- today not so much... :-/
Hey, I really appreciate your sticking with me through this- I can't tell you how helpless and alone I feel. It's nice to have someone out there with more experience than I have!
Thanks :)

Robin

I have no idea what canesoral is. Never heard of it. Now I know it is fluconazole. I'm just ecstatic that it worked for me!! I hate losing animals.
