I didn't read all the comments so sorry if I say something someone else said. I just use a little dropper and put it on the side of their beak. They will usually drink it. Maybe try getting it to eat some smashed up boiled egg? ONLY THE YELLOW PART!!

is doing great. All better and back to herself. Let her out to free range in the yard with her pals and first thing she did was fly up onto her favorite perch in the lilac bush. She's such a show off!

Well I need help again (ugh). This morning I let my girls out and found this under the roost in the coop that houses my Olive Egger and my Orpington. They have been on Corid since Thursday evening. The Bantam that I treated for Coccidia (sp) is perfectly fine but now obviously one of the other ones has roundworms. Can I treat with Wazine along with Corid or should I finish out the Corid treatment and then treat with Wazine?

We'll see what Kathy says (she the worm expert) but you are close to 4days on Corid?

I don't have anything in my notes that says you can't use Wazine with Corid, but it may be better to use Fenbendazole (Safeguard, Panacur) along the with the Corid. Wazine would need to be added to the water, while you direct dose each bird with Fenbendazole (plus it treats more than just roundworm).

Fenbendazole (Safeguard, Panacur) dosage is 1/4 ml per pound for 5 days in a row. Since your girls are young (12wks?) you would need to weigh them. But your dosage for each one would be rather "small", so you could put it on a few pieces of bread and feed each one their bread individually instead of having to administer it orally
