I think your best bet is to set a trap and get out of there. If he isn't tamed, your presence is just going to cause him to stay hidden unfortunately. hormones and companionship will lure him back towards the flock where you should be able to catch him with a trap.I feel so bad...the poor boy is out on his own, and he's going to get rained on more tonight and something will probably eat him...all because I opened the door. Is there anything else I can do?
Yeah, maybe I should have jumbos...A pool net would work perfect to catch them. And if you can get them to fly a several times, they should be worn out by then. And you should look into getting jumbos. They can't fly worth a darn.
