Help Cracked Egg in incubator

So i try candle eggs and in one was life but when i was about to put him back my dog run onto me and egg drops.. this is egg now!! What to do .. Can i Save him or??

try a coat of Elmers Glue, I would suggest Super Glue but the smell. I've also heard of wax; burn a candle but not directly onto the egg (smear to cover the crack) ... Maybe clear nail polish but that has a smell also. Give the members time to respond but those are my thoughts

I remove him i called vet ( my close friend) and she said remove it so i hope others are fine.. one is sure no more candeling with dog

Im not sure theres hope, me personally id leave it. It looks gone.
im so sorry, egg candeling is a very delicate process and should be treated as such, atleast you know what not to do now.

We had a similar problem when we went into lockdown - the egg turner actually had cracked one a bit. On day 23 we had a baby chick come from it! There’s always hope of the inside membrane isn’t punctured!! I really think if it’s meant to be - life finds a way!!

For future reference, liquid bandage works well for cracks.

So its very different if the egg is about to hatch, also, it looks like the eggs membrane was punctured


your story is quite different from this one, also, are you sure it wasnt the chick pipping?
