I have a duckling that can't walk.. He/She was fine then I woke up and went to feed them and he/she couldn't walk... It has been like this for about three weeks. I've been feeding him/her 100mg of niacin per gallon of water and feeding it start and grow chick feed. It can push itself up but it stumbles. I don't know what to do! :( Its feet sort of look drawn like someone who has suffered a stroke. Can ducklings have strokes? Or is there like a "cleft foot" or some disease that would cause this? The other five ducklings are fine.

Have a read through the below thread and see if you can relate. I had this problem with my duckling about 3 weeks ago when she was just one week old. I gave her the niacin which seemed to give her more strength in her legs, but I needed to hobble her to keep her legs together as they would splay out to the sides and she'd collapse.

Hope this can give you some helpful advice - my Hazel's standing tall and walking strong these days!
