My seven week old silkie has a crooked beak (the top and bottom are a bit over grown and are slid apart at a diagonal).
I didn't notice anything tell just last week so I gave her a cuttle bone and she's been pecking on it but it's getting worse and I'm really worried, she also has a crooked toe that she's had sense hatch.
Can anyone help I really love her

I don't know many people who have repaired a crooked beak. I do know a lot who have given them a little extra help with eating and the birds were just fine. As log as she gets enough food and water she'll most likely be like any other chicken. Crooked beaks are common.

I don't know how to help with that, but I have a chicken that has a very crooked beak but eats and drinks just fine. She may take more time, but she acts pretty normal.

The only question is, is she able to eat?

Lots of people on here have experience with beaks like this. Sometimes they need trimming so the bird can eat, or the bird needs a special dish so she can scoop the food into her mouth.

Do a search in this section on "crossbeak." Lots of info.

I remembered that we just changed there food a week ago and that's wen the beak started to shift. so now I have them back on there old food and I don't think it will get any worse. I actually hope it will get better as she finishes growing up.

I have a littl serama hen, Lucy, that has a crooked or "scizzor" beak. She can eat and drink just fine, and I keep the overlapping beak trimmed so it kind of evens out and she's able to pick the food up a little better.
