Help, crooked neck!!!!!

Hi all, I have a BSL pullet with crooked neck and she isn't eating, he's pecking but not consuming, she drinks great! Is there anything at all I can do for her??

get some vitamin E into her. Either clip open a regular vitamin E capsule and wipe a bit on her beak. she'll suck it right down. Your goal would be to get 1/2 - 1 drop into her 1 - 2 x / day. Do a thread search for Vitamin E encephalopathy or Crazy chick disease for further info. An excellent product is Poultry nutridrench. How old is this chick? If she's within the 48 hour window of being received, check the fine print. You should be able to get credit for her.

Yes she's within the 48 hour policy, she's a little over 24 hours old. I'll go get Vite-E

In spite of the fact that you intend to try to save her, the outcome is not always good, so I'd call the hatchery right away and have them give you credit. She may or may not pull through, and if she does, there may be long term issues that will effect her performance.

Just wanted to update that the chick with the bad neck is eating and drinking 100% just has a crooked neck!
