Help crows stalking my chickens they wont go away

if you have standard sized hens they should be fine, crows do not usually attack adults, only pullets/bantams and steal eggs. one time a whole bag of chicken wings and legs went bad and we threw them to the chickens. poor crows just watched from a tree as they ravaged the scraps. i feel bad for them sometimes.
ravens are the same, but some people have them attack their roosters. personally i have not seen the ravens go after the hens. they just sit in a tree and watch the show. they're good because they mob hawks, along with blue jays.

😳 you should not feed your chickens raw chicken or bad chicken.

Has the crows killed any of your birds? We have a lot of crows here. The only time they went into the pens was before I covered the pens and they were looking for any eggs that may have been layed on the ground. They do chase any hawks away that come around and the hawks will kill chickens. A few months ago I had a breach in some netting I covered the pens with and a hawk found it and got into a pen and killed several birds. I did replace some of the netting and fixed the breach.

Over the years I have had mixed feelings about crows. I have 5 cherry trees and they wipe them completely clean before they even fully ripen. BUT, since I've had chickens I've learned to appreciate them. I bring them a treat when I tend my birds in the morning, and as a rule they do keep hawks away. This morning topped it all though. My neighbor texted me that a coyote was heading our way, then never mind the crows chased it back into the woods! I only wish I could have seen that!
