Help.. cuckoo maran pullet stopped laying

Help! My five month old cuckoo maran has been laying eggs for a couple of weeks now and has not laid an egg in 4 days or more should I be concerned?

No, its that time of year. Most hens stop in winter, especially newly laying pullets. She's likely done for the year. She may lay hear and there through out winter. Newly laying pullets take a couple months to stabilize their laying schedule as well.

I wouldn't worry if I were you. Unless she is broody or molting, then she's probably going to lay again soon. My cuckoo marans are six months old and they haven't started laying yet! Lol

My first year layers seem to be a little inconsistent.

If she is acting normal in other ways... eating, foraging, general stuff then I wouldn't be worried.

If she is sitting around, lethargic... that's different.
