HELP!!! dark spots on duck egg???

my duck egg is on day 18 and last night the power went out for 8 hours and temp dropped to 22 degrees , the temp is at 38 right now and when i candled the egg there was movement thank god , but there’s dark spots which werent there the day before what is it ? burst blood vessels ? bacteria ? rotting? will doobie still hatch ?

Is that in the pointy end or the air cell and? What breed of duck is it?

it’s the pointy end it’s a pekin duck

That would be the "embryo feces" then. It's usually more visible at the end of incubation. It's nothing to worry about. Just the duckling's wastes from the past 18 days.

no wayyyy i had no idea ducklings poop inside the egg thank you so much, was getting so worried hahahaha
