I have a broody silkie she went broody october 10th only 3 were viable then until day 18 we realized new eggs were randomly showing up from i believe our other silkie so we created a seperate brooder so she couldnt get extra eggs.. We candled on the 30th(day 20) to make sure they were good and still lots of movement from all 3 of them but no internal pipping. I know I took a chance candeling them on the 30th. Should I candle them again? What are the odds they are alive or dead? Is it possible these eggs were layed later and I don't actually know the hatch date?

Are you positive the eggs set on the 10th are the same eggs she has now? Personally I would go candle again to see what is happening.
We are not actually positive. We know forsure one of the eggs is our dark brahmas probably laid a week later so we already expected we will have to move that one under our other broody but based on candeling around the 16 day mark I could tell the silkie eggs are further along than the dark brahmas. But now tht I think about it I'm not sure I ever saw the rooster mate with mom before we got rid of him (she's our most aggressive silkie so she pecked anyone who came near her) but I know foraure he mated my other silkie who was definitely laying eggs next to her and she was collecting them. So is it possible I just don't know the hatch date due to a scattered batch of eggs? I have a general idea just based on candeling (first time so my information is research based)

Is it's taking a big chance to candle them if they are truly getting ready to hatch?

Shrink wrapping happens when pipped eggs are in an environment without enough humidity for an extended time. The hen keeps better conditions than an incubator and candling occasionally does not keep eggs out for an extended period. If you notice a pip you can just put the egg back under the hen.

Thankyou! Crazy enough we went and lifted her up last night and saw a hole in one so we put her back down and left her alone and this morning I turned the camera on and heard peeping! So atleast one has hatched so far!
