Help! Day 31 Single Muscovy Pipped Internally

HELP IT EXTERNALLY PIPPED, BUT NOT IN THE AIR CELL. It pipped slightly underneath the line of the air cell. Is that still okay?!?!?

Also, none of the other eggs are showing any signs of movement, even the one that had drawn it's air cell down. Think they're duds? It's day 33 right now.

They could be, but remember that pipping as early as the first isn't common - there's a good chance they're just fine.

Lol! Hatches definitely do that sometimes. Do you have a pic of the pip? Hearing any sounds, or are they just resting right now?

I saw the pip about 4 hours ago but it could have started any time between 10am my time and when I first saw it which was 6pm my time. Chirping a lot and you can hear it tapping against the shell.

I attached a photo. Should the bill be where the pip is? Because I don't see one. I moisten the membrane every so often.

Not necessarily. Is the membrane dry? What is the humidity at?

The membrane dries white if I leave it alone. Humidity right now is a bit high where I am because we've had rain all morning so hydrometer is telling me 75%. I dabbed coconut oil on it because I don't want to keep opening it up.

I candled it and there are still blood vessels visible so definitely not ready. This is so nerve wracking!

Unfortunately, no movement that I can see in the other 3 eggs (we're on Day 34 right now.) Sometimes I feel like I could see slight movement but don't know if it's just from me rocking whatever's inside while I'm candling them or my eyes are playing tricks on me. The interior of the eggs are all filled up, just not moving.

You're doing good. Remember, it's still early, and eggs often pip after the hatch date! Just leave them alone for now.
