I have a duckling that hatched the sunday night and my dad got the wrong food for him and there is no way to get anything else becuase of a bad snow storm i wont be able to get anything till thursday night at earliest is there something i can feed him till then

What is the food? what has he been eating so far. you can grind oatmeal [not instant] but be warned this isn't a complete feed and he'll need chick starter as soon as possible.

If feeding anything other than starter they will need grit. chick grit preferably .

thank you all he has been eatting just egg youlk so far but we got chick grower not starter i was told this is bad for him

Actually you feed your duckling in stages. First is a starter then grower and finally finisher. Next depends if you have a drake or hen. But I see purina offers a 3 in one feed called "flock raiser". Might be something to look into. I don't know what brands your store offers. I use Agways feed.

the feeds are limeted here and every place sayd chick and duck starter will not be avalible for another month this is all i could get it is called Purina purinature grower checkers
