HELP: Dead or not Dead?

Next time dont float test it. If there had been any crack you didn't see, the chick could have drowned if it were alive.

Was the egg an eating egg, balut egg or an already half incubated egg that you bought?
Noted. Balut egg.

Would anyone be able to explain if it’s dead? There’s this brown-ish/yellowish spot. And the texture is getting dark. I see no sign of movement when candling.
Did you just buy it?
Has it been in the refrigerator?
Have you warmed it up in an incubator yet?

I got the egg from a store and have no information. If go by that principle, 9th day? I highly doubt that its actual age?
If you've had this egg in the incubator for 9 days...and You don't see clear movement that I'm going to say it is no longer alive.

When I put my balut eggs into my incubator I saw movement within a day.

Nope, not at all. I did the float test and the big end is above the water, while, the narrow end is pointing download. Did a quick check on the past Saturday and saw a duck head figure. However, can’t see anything today.
Image from the recent Saturday.

My first time doing this, advice is appreciated
This egg is dead.
