Let me start off that I am completely unprepared for chicks as I didn’t expect them to come into the world so quickly, but it happened. And I’m absolutely in love with the first chick!!

The day before I checked the egg process and how long they would take to hatch with my phones flashlight and what I saw was an already ready one ( the newborn ), halfway ready one, and one close to being halfway. Perhaps I saw them wrong, but form what I checked for similar images that’s what I saw. My question is, will my hen stay long in of for the rest of the chicks to hatch and is it possible? I don’t have an incubator and at this time in the world, I can only rely of my hen.

How many eggs are under hen, and how many hens do you have.
Reason I ask,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, is; have there been other hens that have been laying fertile eggs into same nest broody was sitting in???
At this point, you do not have many options. Let hen hatch out whatever hatches out. The chickens are smarter than we want to credit them.
Probably would be good to include you location in your profile. This would give those giving advice,,,, better info on what to do in your climate zone. Everything may be different if you are in HOT,,,, or COLD area at this time of hatch.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and :welcome

Lmaoo thank you for the welcoming- also noted lol, I live in LA and it’s raining lately along with it being cold,i brought the hen in the basket inside the garage cause I was worried the chick would get to cold! It isn’t her first time getting broody since she belonged to someone else, but there were four eggs there and one of them were marked for her to continue laying, but I’ll definitely see what happens and what she’ll do^^
