Help-Do i help?

What a situation! Wishing you luck. It is possible to make a chick survive without absorbing the sac, but it's a very low possibility. My chicks sac wasn't fully absorbed, but I got it out anyway and syringe fed it sugared water - a good syringe to use is the one that comes with a baby's nurofen medicine bottle from chemists, it will be in the box witht he medicine. The syringe has no needle, or not plastic point, just a small hole with i put over the chicks beak momentarily until it drank.

Thank you, another update, the chick absorbed the whole yolk sack during the day

So i was pretty surprised to find a little chick wriggling about with an egg shell lying beside it! Its feathers have all crusted together so it cant fluff up and one eye cant open-any ideas how to solve this?
Also, i dont know if this is normal for a chick thats spent a long time in the egg but it wont use its feet, only hold them in the position they were in the egg with the toes curled up

Mine was the same, curled up feet and stuck feathers, and a shut eye. Warm water will open the eye, the feathers will sort themselves or you could bathe him in warm water and dry him. Feet should straighten out, keep putting him on flat surfaces and keep correcting his feet when on your hand. Glad he's ok!

I really doubt the poor thing will make it tonight
