Help, do I step in with the hatch?

Figures one of mine would be a problem.

12 Hours at this point. Did it give up?

It didn’t give up its resting because its been working hard for 12 hours, if you need to it is safe to open the egg just be careful and know what your doing

I have read all the posts about helping in the forum. I will check the membrane here in a bit and continue to watch

I checked it out more throughly. I noticed there was yoke around its original pip area, and it must have turned and tried a different area and broke through. It is a big chick, and was the largest of all my original eggs. It didn’t react to any of my inspection. Eyes still closed and I saw red blood still in the membrane. It is still in the incubator and we will just wait it out now
