Joe, DEFINATELY take the bill to the nabor! They need to pay for any and all inconviences to you and the hen! Loss of eggs...etc. Hope this doesn't start a feude with them tho. That sure can make life hard, when fighting with neighbors!

I really was confused and thought perhaps you were coming down on me for thinking of shooting the dog. Maybe I was still worked up from the whole evening. Thus the reason for the spelling correction, normally not my style, but not my style to back down easily either.

The only reason I didn't shoot was I do not want a war. granted I only talk with them 4 or 5 times a year(they are 400+ yards away) I still want to be friendly.

They have been warned though. There will not be a second time that the dog walks away.

Friends at work love the term SSS btw.....(I had to ask a couple months ago what that meant)...
