Help! Dog Attacks Hen ( Graphic Photos )

When do you think that her wounds should be covered? Do you think that I could put band-aids on her back? If she gets an infection, what would that look like?

I wouldn’t cover it until the wound heals almost all the way but If she wound leave it alone u could put a loose chicken saddle. Then you have to make sure it’s loose enough for the wound to breathe and that it won’t get stuck or hurt the bird at all.

Update on Vienna:
In my personal opinion, other than the way her back looks, I don't think that she has acted so good in a long time. I'm fact, her nickname had been "Grouch" for a long time, now. When she was younger, Vienna got a wound on her chest that nobody knew about until we found a giant abscess on her chest. Well, me and my Mom drained out the yellowish whitish reddish stuff out of her chest; but she has never been the same since. Ever since hand we've all called her Grouch for she is never happy and is mean to any hen who acts happy.
Every time you ever touch her body, she is always got all tensed up skin. In fact, her whole body is always tensed up. My Autistic brother has even said that the only time that Vienna is happy is when it's raining.

Now, it's weird. After two near death experiences so far this year in possibly one month's time, Vienna actually acts - well, happy. Most I can explain it is, she is happy to be alive! Not happy because it is raining or because she is inflicting merciless pain on some poor hen, but because she survived from a wolf hybrid sinking it's jaws into her back while trying to run away with her and mercilessly tearing out some of her feathers out of her back as I come running to her aid. Ya. Vienna is overjoyed to be alive!

There is something that I am a little concerned about, though. Yesterday and the day of the attack, she didn't seem to mind me putting a saline rinse on her, but today she keeps trying to get away from me. What does this mean? Does it mean that she today it's hurting, and before she may of had some type of natural pain relief that is in chickens that nobody knows about?

Saline is made with 2 tsp of table salt for each quart or liter of water. It is is mixed too strong, it might sting. But she might be fighting because she feels better and is stronger.
It must be the fact that she is feeling better and stronger, for she didn't even move that much when I put a little bit of peroxide that one time that night after she was attacked.
