Rotty/Chow...dad was Rott....mother was red Chow...like I said if tongue is splashy black...she came out just like yours....

I bred German Shepherds for many years. What you have there is mostly Shepherd, the coloring is known as bi-color. There may be some Rott in there, if there is, it's only about a quarter. Not sure where you got the pup from, but many backyard breeders don't breed quality dogs, and they can come out a bit strange looking at times. Also most people assume GSDs are really large dogs, but the standard calls for them to be medium-large, as they are meant to be athletic working dogs. Hope this helps - in any case he's a cutie-patootie!

I also think obviously shepherd, but when I first looked I initially thought maybe shar pei. Somewhere along the line anyway, he's got those high little ears, and a broader snout, although I guess this could be rottie also.

I think mostly (long-haired) GSD (if not pure).. if he's a mix I'd say either rottie or possibly some husky/sled dog breed... He looks like he'll be a good size dog, but not huge..his paws don't seem too big compared to his overall body size.. He's a very cute dog.

From the looks of his front paws, they look a little turned out, it seems a mystery. I would venture at least some Rottie, but since he doesn't seem to have enough fur to be Chow, along with the straight tale....and you said he has no black/blue in his mouth....Who knows??
