HELP!! DOGS ATTACKED MY SILKIE ROO

I sent you a private message.
Dunno how that works, computer illiterate, don't see it . . .

FYI, I'd never given a chicken a shot until last summer; now I've given several dozen. Still don't like it but. I inject into the breast, next to the bone (about an inch away), below the crop a couple inches. Had to do it alone. Held the hen snugly in my lap, slightly tilted to one side. Pushed the needle in ~1/2 way, hit the bone once or twice (not the same episode), world didn't end nor did the chicken die. Just eased out a tad, then pulled out on the plunger slightly to make sure no blood came out (indicating I was in a blood vessel - hasn't happened yet-), then firmly, slowly pushed the plunger in. Voila. Big sigh of relief. Repeated 3 days, alternating side of breastbone.

I bought two huge barns and they arrived yesterday. They have locks on all the handles and it came with a key chain with keys! So everyone's locked in and snug tonight! No worries now! * phew *!

BUT I guess this crap heads think this is funny. Pardon my French. Today I found a clump of silkie feathers in the cage that they were stolen out of. So now they're just messing with me. I'm about to get a bear trap and set it in front of the silkie cage and hope they lose their freaking leg..... Morons deserve it. I found two of the silkied laid out in my pasture de-breasted. And no signs of the 3rd white silkie so I guess he's still being held hostage. : (

It sounds like maybe an animal more than a person is to blame if you are finding pieces of them laying about...unless you have done something to somebody...

no, no animal would rip off the locks, then leave them de-breasted days later. Gotta be some crazy person.

Is there anyone that doesn't like you for some reason?
