Help Dosing Terramycin

I went and bought Terramycin soluble powder for my sick pullets. I'm a little confused as for how much to give them. It says an ounce per gallon. That seems like a lot. Am I misreading?

If Im not mistaken, you mix 1 ounce in 1 gallon of water, then just water your sick pullets with the water you have mixed.
