HELP! Dropped day 19 egg.

Can you guys help?

I was moving my day 19 eggs to my lockdown bator and I dropped one of the eggs. it s badly shattered. I'm wondering if I should put coconut oil on the exposed outer membrane. Any other suggestions would be welcome. There is some blood and I can't tell if there s movement.

Oh dear! Definitely try adding the coconut oil. It is pretty far along at 19 days. I am hoping the lil one can finish up ok.

Oh no!! So sorry to hear/see this! I'd be freaking out. I agree with the above, maybe candle it, and apply some oil on it. I would want to avoid the membrane from drying up.. and put it back in the bator... I would keep a close eye on it. I think that's the best you can do given the circumstances! Good luck, would love to see if this little one makes it out okay.

So sorry I did that once and just put mine in hatcher, then kept an eye on it.

It sure did, though I think I had to assist a few days later.
