Help, dropped the candler on an egg.

This egg has until Saturday to hatch. Inner membrane is ok shell is cracked on the side...

What can I do. What has worked for you????

I have heard of patching with coconut oil and a damp paper towel or small piece of saran. If you leave it, the chick will get shrink wrapped, just happened to me with a much smaller chip

I honestly think I would leave it. It should do fine. You can run some coconut oil on the membrane, but it shouldn't dry out too bad. I would stop turning it though since it might make the crack worse. Good luck! Let us know how it turns out

I was putting some on lockdown that are set to hatch Wednesday so it isn't being turned. Thanks. If i have to assist I will fingers crossed
 
Just for future reference, I once accidentally cracked an egg, and used clear nail polish. It worked great and the chick was able to come out safely. Good luck !
