What do you do to help a partially drowned, soaked to the bone adult duck? My son didn't dump out the soapy dog bath water this afternoon. I have three ducks suffering, and one of them can't walk and water keeps coming out of it's nose.

I've never experienced this before but I would give them electrolites in the water and take towels and try and dry them off and get them warm. You might even try a hair dryer to get them dried off. Make sure the temp setting isn't to hot. If they seemed stressed with this I would just use the towels. Good luck I hope they survive.

Oh my gosh! Hopefully you have gotten them fully dried and warmed up by now. Hairdryers on low setting work well in these situations as long as you keep your hand between the duck and the dryer to make sure it isn't getting too hot on them to cause burns. Sounds pretty serious with the one having water coming out of it's nares and a vet would probably be the best thing right now. Antibiotics would be great to have to help protect against them developing pneumonia from getting water in their lungs.

How are they doing today?? Are they ok?

Poor things! One of my ducks sits on the back of the other duck and when he gets out of the pool after this he's sodden! I'd suggest scooping them in to a towel to try and dry them off, hairdryer is a brilliant idea. Do you have a heat lamp? From when they were ducklings maybe? Could you bring them in and sit them under the heat lamp for a little while? that'll warm them up and help them to get dry.
Hope they're doing alright
