I just reread your entire post. Here's what I would try as far as vitamin therapy..
.25mls poly vi sol daily
200 ius vitamin E twice daily.
If there is no improvement in two weeks or, she gets worse then you are dealing with more than a vitamin deficiency.
I'm sorry. There is no way to know for sure what is wrong without a necropsy. If it were a respiratory problem, then a swab or blood test would work. Unfortunately, when it comes to other illnesses, this is not the case.
You can contact your local government extension office and ask them where the nearest state lab is that will do one. Most state labs will do them for little to no cost.
Good luck with the vitamins. I hope she responds well and you can put this whole thing behind you.
