I have one duck egg in with some others in a home made incubator. It is on day 24 of incubation and supposed to go into lockdown after the final turn tomorrow. The problem I have at the moment is my son got into my room and knocked the incubator and all the eggs rolled into this one, the others are fine, but this egg seems to have has its air sack detached and I'm not sure what to do now. I have placed it upright in the incubator with the pointed end of the egg pointing down and the large end up but at a slight angle. so its leaning to one side slightly, i can't see anything in the egg at the moment, but where the air sack is has gone cloudy instead of clear. The eggs were posted and allowed to sit for 24 hours before they were incubated, will the air sack re attach? will the chick still hatch or has it lost its chance with this accident?
