It started snowing today and I saw one of my ducks feathers frozen. What can i do? I removed the kiddy pool.

Yes they do, but don't they need drinking water? I have a bucket for them to drinj out of.Yes def keep them out of water. Do they have a shelter to go into?
It was shivering although I warmed it up by waving a heat lamp above it for awhile and she stopped shivering.If only surface feathers are frozen, the duck will be fine. If the duck is evidently shivering and wet/frozen to the skin, move it to some place where it can warm up/dry off.
Do you know whats the yellow stuff outlining their feathers? They're were just shaking their body few times and it slowly outlined yellow?Yes give them drinking water just nothing they can sit in. I place a scrap board over half my buckets to keep mine from climbing inside them.
Sadly, camera not working on phone but I have this example. It's like more yellow micro dots.Maybe the oily wax they spread over their feathers for water proofing? Got any pics?
