Are your ducks white or light colored @CherpNPeep my white Muscovys I could sleays see their yellow oil from their preen gland on some of their feathers.

I think, that's good enough for me. I have thickened the straw for them and they are enjoying playing in it. I think they will be fine however I'm gonna have to do hourly checks on them just in case. They seem fine at the time. Thank you so much for your help! I will surely check their glands.Sorry just can’t imagine what else it could be if yellow unless the wax from the preen gland sometime If you haven’t already hold one of your ducks and look down top of back where tail meets body you’ll find the preen gland you should see yellow around it.
