Help!!! Duck hatched attached to umbilical cord

This is my first time hatching ducks and I really need a hand... she hatched yet she’s clearly still attached..
I’m guessing she’s premature... please help... she’s loud but sleepy

I heared if you put them in a cup in a paper towel in the incubator till it's absorbed they'll be okay

Is the attached part kind of like a string attachment to the membrane?

If it is... sterilize scissors and cut close to the membrane. The rest will dry and fall off.

That’s if it has yolk attached... this looks like a membrane attachment, it’s different.

The cord has got thinner And I think will sever soon but I’ll still have to deal with her navel

Put triple antibiotic ointment with no pain relief on the naval.

Sterilize scissors and cut close to the shell so it won’t rip insides out of the naval
