Alright after a few hours of running around I finally found the b complex vitamin. The first TSC I went to was out and of course it was after 6pm and the local feed stores were closed for the night. Luckily the TSC a few towns over had some in stock. So I mixed it with some peas and gave the ducks a late night treat. The male came out to greet me this time but is still scooting around and not using his legs but no other issues so I am leaning toward a niacin deficiency. But on a good note my female finally got up to stretch and I was able to sneak a peak at her eggs. She has been sitting on a clutch of eggs since we got back from vacation a few weeks ago. 2 of 7 of her eggs are developing so we may have little ones soon! I'll post an update again tomorrow.

That’s exciting! I love ducklings. KCs are supposedly great mothers.:fl

That stinks you had to drive here and there for the vitamins. But since it has around 250mLs, it should last you forever. I’m glad he’s in good spirits other than walking. Hopefully the little pumpkin will be walking soon.

Awesome just keep it up till he is 100% then wait a few more days before stopping all together. Great news!!!

Are you talking about the duck on the left in the post? if so that isn't a Mallard That's a Khaki Campbell

Yes the duck on the left. I always thought he was a mallard because that's what I was told he was lol guess not. After searching male mallards on goodle he definitely does not match. Oops I also had a hen that ended up being a rooster and I didn't notice until about 6 months in this is my first time with chickens and ducks so I am still new to all of this

Happy update. The b complex seems to be helping(I'm amazed at how quick it kicked in). Thank you to everyone who responded! Mr. Mallard is standing up today and walking short distances. He is still a little wobbly but I think he is going to be okay View attachment 1389795
 Wow that is really amazing and wonderful to hear!! I would still add some to his water every now and again since we know his body doesn’t make enough and/or absorb enough through his diet. And you have a ton so might as well use it. Did I say how pumped I am he’s feeling better?!:highfive:

Is my female on the right a mallard? My poor ducks are going to have a mid life identify crisis lol :th
Oh and I do think your girl is a mallard. . . or it *could* be a Rouen. Colors are about the same on the two breeds but posture is different and a Rouen is larger. Google both and see you should be able to tell.
