Just now I found my one year old male Muscovy taking shelter away from his mate which is highly unusual in itself...he is lethargic, his feathers puffed up, slightly labored/weak walking and breathing. Haven't been able to give him a thorough physical exam but don't see any obvious evidence of injury .Haven't looked at his vent so can't say if anything weird is happening there .He eats a variety of foods: chicken crumbles, duck pellets, scratch treats, whatever he free ranges on land or in the pond....here is a pic of his stool. He seemed fine yesterday. Duck plague?????

How's your guy doing?
Thank you for asking ❤️ He is hanging in there and apparently doing better. The night after he was first observed to be sick and I made the original post, he spent that night perching on a log in the pond. Day two he returned to land and had the same symptoms only much less severe. I didn’t see any diarrhea or droppings so don’t know about that. He stayed around his mate, took it easy, and ate some but not a lot. Day three he seemed further improved in the energy department but not 100%. His appetite was better but still small. This is day four and he seems the same.
