My duckling is staying the same size while the other ducks his same age are getting WAY bigger than him, is this a problem for his health?

How is he acting other wise. There is something called failure to thrive where they just don't grow and fall behind and eventually die. But if your lil one is acting normal and just not growing as fast it may just be it's always going to be on the small side. How old is your ducklings?

He's falling behind when the others walk and is always last and goes slow, so slow that one of my ducks with a gimp leg goes faster. Their about 4 weeks now.

Have you noticed it eating and drinking okay and getting in there to get to food? Could be many things even some kind of birth defect like a heart problem. Have you been using poultry vitamins? I'd get some and add to their water. give it every chance. I had a muscovy duckling that by appearances looked normal and healthy but by 2 weeks old she was slower and smaller than the rest and when mom and ducklings would go off foraging she would stay behind laying down. She was about 4 weeks old when her heart gave out. Not saying this is what is wrong with yours but sometimes we just can't see what is wrong but we know something is. Is it possible you can take the lil one to a vet? Try the poultry vitamins I like to use Poultry Nutri drench it goes to work fast. Making sure it is able to get all the food it wants and plenty to drink.
