Hello,
I have never had this problem before, I'm kind of freaking out. Ok so recently I bought a Hova Bator 1602N and some Pekin Duck Eggs off eBay. I started up the Incubator 4 days before I set the eggs, I placed an Acu-Rite Thermometer(the one with the temp and humidity percentage) in the middle of the incubator. I got it to 99-102 degrees and the humidity between 48-55% it was stable for those 4 days so I set the eggs on February 22nd at around 6am so I counted that as Day 1. Today (Day 25) would've been the day I would've placed them on lockdown and increase the humidity to 70-80% however I came home from work yesterday and heard peeping, when I looked in the window of the incubator I noticed they had pipped a large hole through their shell and a lot of the membrane is showing, I am just worried about the membrane drying out, I placed them on lockdown with temp at 99 and humidity at 75% when I left work this morning. All were peeping away at hearing my voice, membrane was white and a bit dry so I dipped my finger in some water and rubbed it on the exposed membrane and placed them back in the incubator. I have been at work for almost 8 hours, I just really am needing some advice and comfort that they will be ok and not dry out and die, is there anything I can do? Has anyone had this problem before....

any name suggestions?
. Glad to see there hatching successfully. Etta, glacier, Enya, arbor, buffington, Arcadia, shimmer, burr, monte, burt, muffler... meh I try to use names that seem uncommon.
