I hatched my first baby peachick out a week ago. I accidentally knocked the incubator cord loose right after it hatched and it got chilled for an hour when the incubator was off before I noticed. It has never been very peppy but the last few days it has seemed more and more lethargic. I have it brooding with chicks - I read they can help teach it to eat and drink. I haven’t seen it eating or drinking so the last few days I have been trying more actively to teach it but there isn’t a whole lot of interest. Right now it is laying around a lot and not even trying to stand. :( I just turned it over and found dried up poop like pasty butt on its rear end so I’m going to try to clean that up. I also have some save a chick - any other ideas on what I can do to save it?

Does not sound good. It has a lot going against it, being chilled, forced to live with nasty ducks, drinking yucky water, and bacterial infection, pasty butt. Remove it from the duck brooder and put in a clean brooder, get a chicken chick if you need to for company, and give it a drop of Baytril orally for three days for the infection. Good luck.
