Help, EEs are so hard to sex

These are my suspected cockerels at 5 weeks, opinion?

Kind of early, that white/gray one might most likely be a roo... What's with that one with the topknot? Really too soon to tell, but I would be watching the brown one for the next couple of weeks, too. This early would be helpful to be able to compare with the ones you think are pullets... But I would wait another week.

They look very similar to my two EE hens of the same age. I think you have pullets. I am no expert though. I have 13 chicks that are all five weeks ( various breeds) and the roosters are pretty obvious in my group.

Looking to be pullets, however the one in the first picture is probably an EE mix (topknot & leg color).

So far, nothing outright cockerel-ish. I'd keep an eye on the last one, though....that's quite the comb.

It could be the weather "heat" ... My girls get "red" when it's warmer or they make me chase them to get their weekly look over.
