Help! Egg-bound chicken!!

Ok. Be careful administering antibiotics. If you can. Clean the wound with water or salt mixed with water, remove all the yellow puss or cheesey stuff. Dry with a paper towel. Disinfect with iodine or hidrogen peroxide. And smother the cut in neosporn. (Inside and out).These are my normal steps.
 
You must follow your antibiotics requirements (kg of bird weight) to (mg of antibiotic) very carefully or risk damage to the stomach and gut. Also if your chicken pulls through. Give her some probiotics. Yogurt will do. It will help To replenish her bacterial flora.

Hi everyone, I know this thread is very old but I wanted to update you guys on Luna because something very exciting happen today. So she hasn’t laid eggs ever since this thread was made and about a week ago I noticed my chickens had some worms so I gave them some dewormer and I started noticing that Luna was feeling better her comb was very bright again and she was looking a lot better also. Then unexpectedly I found her egg in the nesting box I’m so happy I haven’t seen her egg in so long thank you all of you for helping me!!!! ❤️🐔🥰🥳🤩
