will she still eat them if I put like 6 in her house to incubate?Possibly. If you keep in mind none of them might make it because she may eat them. Are you trying to test if she's a good broody or good mother or both? You could try putting some eggs in an incubator same time you put eggs under her and give her the chicks if she fails with the eggs.soo.... today it was confirmed by a half eaten eggwill she still eat them if I put like 6 in her house to incubate?
I already know she is EXTREMELEY BROODY! I never let more than 1 egg sit in their pen because she will sit on them. the problem is she has a lethal gene from being inbredPossibly. ... really know what your do'in before ordering eggs on ebay
. I am wanting to put some good proven eggs from one of the people who I gave button quail to to her to hatch (her button hen was a terrible mother.... they somehow incubated by her sleeping on them at night and then tried to kill them all when they hatched (she killed 4, 3 were saved)… I am almost 100% sure she would be a great mother as she has gone broody (till I took the eggs out at 30 days) 10 times, and she just turned 1 year.ok, thanks!Mine did until I started giving them the eggshell mixture I mentioned earlier. I just fed some more to my girls this morning and all 15 of them flocked to the bowl and cucumbers.
congrats me, there's a rat in the quail coop.
